The RFA format is Autodesk Revit family file. There are quite a few tutorials on youtube that might help.

I take it you are using Revit? Your best bet is to download some custom materials that are already in a Revit file (template), then you can import these into your project. Else find a texture you like and create the material in Revit yourself.

Hi Marion, that normally happens when you try and open the ArchiCAD GSM file directly, as the manufacture protects the script (so you can't edit the chair's form). To use it please add it to your product via ArchiCAD's library manager.

Hi Tania, yes that makes sense. Not every product on Modlar has BIM/CAD files. If you are looking for those files specifically, you can do a search (even just a blank search) and tick the file type you want in the 'Formats' filter on the left hand side. I like it - at least from what I've seen in the renders.. Coupled with the new train terminal which is also under contraction, that pic elf the San Francisco financial district will be looking very sharp.

I have recently started to involve some my clients with BIMx. And, they love it. At this stage I am using it in the concept stages of the design. When I get the confidence, I'll eventually use it for the final drawings too.
