Wow, what an event! Fantastic to see that Build Qatar Live 2012 has been such a success!



This year teams had 48 hours to design their proposal for the Museum of Architecture in Doha. The event took place from Tuesday, November 27th 2012 to Thursday, November 29th 2012 and was sponsored by Nemetschek Vectorworks.



Winners:

  • BIM Academy are the Overall Winner for BUILD QATAR LIVE 2012


  • BIM Unlimited won the Award for Best Use of BIM for Technical Assessment


  • Aidea won the Award for Best Use of BIM for Design, Drama and Excitement


  • Niven Architects won the Award for Multi-Disciplinary BIM and Use of Interoperability




The stats for Build Qatar Live are fantastic!

  • 12 teams, 41 countries


  • 14,865 total logins to Build Qatar Live 2012 Collaboration Server


  • 549 files published onto Asite


  • 279 registrants


  • 5 judges




Build Qatar Live 2012 was a real success and you can view both the work from the teams and the video announcing the winners on the Build Qatar Live 2012 website.
