Ground zero memorial opens

The National September 11 Memorial Opens this weekend in New York.

The design was chosen from a pool of 5,200 submissions in what was the largest design competition in history. The winning design was by architect Michael Arad and landscape architect Peter Walker. It contains two large reflecting pools in place of the buildings footprints.

Attached are some renders/BIM models of the memorial. As well as two photos I took when I visited it late last year.
