Building on the Olympics theme, I have just found a video which builds the 1972 Munich Olympic Stadium in ArchiCAD. The Munich Olympic Stadium was designed by G'nther Behnisch and Frei Otto, and built by Bilfinger Berger. Apparently the sweeping transparent canopy was supposed to imitate the Swiss Alps and symbolize a new Germany. The BIM stadium looks awesome and quite similar to the actual stadium that is situated in the Olympiapark M'nchen, as seen in the photo below! You will see the creation of the canopy of acrylic glass and it's vertical masts in this great video.
