How do I open an ArchiCAD file that is password protected

You can drag and drop an ArchiCAD object file directly to your project floorpan and this will automatically add it to the project!

However if you just open it like a file, ArchiCAD will try and "open" the object's script, which in the case of this file is password protected - this is protected so you don't accidentally break something! And there is no reason to change the script anyway.

Hi Stefan, a .gsm is an ArchiCAD Object file. You need to add it to your ArchiCAD library, via ArchiCAD's library manager.

If you try and just open it, it will ask for a password, as some objects have protected contents inside of them.
