The Universal Timber Slab (UTS) system is a point-supported, parametrically designed timber floor system for multi-storey buildings. The slab is based on a computational arrangement of structural timber lamellas, enabling long spans, reduced self-weight and flexible column positioning.
This element is prepared for use in early-stage and detailed BIM design, supporting layout definition, level coordination, slab penetrations and structural support positioning. The geometry is fully parametric, allowing the adjustment of span, thickness, support layout and segmentation directly in Revit.
All UTS elements are designed to operate in connection with the UTS Intelligent Decision Support System (IDSS), allowing structural, acoustic, environmental (LCA) and fabrication data to be linked or updated externally without overloading the BIM model.
This object is intended for use in concept design, coordination models and digital twin workflows for sustainable timber construction.
