How can I place this as a component in my model?

Gabriela
I downloaded and upgraded the family to R24. I was able to load it in my model, however when trying to placing it in a the model, drop it on the floor of a room, it's not getting placed anywhere. I have Generic Model turned on in graphic overrides. It seems like I can't place it anywhere. I can select the family from the CM(component) category, hover with it around the model, but can't drop it anywhere. Sorry for overexplaining.

To place a component in your model, follow these steps: First, ensure the component file is in the correct format for your modeling software. Next, import or load the component using the software's asset or component management tool. Then, position it within your model by adjusting coordinates, rotation, and scale to fit seamlessly. If necessary, modify its properties to match your design requirements. Finally, save the changes and verify that the component integrates well with the overall structure. Let me know if you need specifics based on the software you're using!

Hi Gabriela, we tested it and the family places correctly on any floor we've tried. (Floor based Model)
Could you let us know the following:
Do you get any error message when placing the model?
Did you try placing the model from a 3d view or a view with a different View template?
Are you placing the model on a Floor System Family?
