Philip

I was born and educated in England, becoming a licensed architect and then pursuing post-graduate research in environmental physics and energy conservation at the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. Moving to the United States with a Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Scholarship, I studied health services planning and design at Columbia University, New York. After serving two years as a Public Health Service Fellow with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C., my career has spanned the fields of architecture, public health, and management consulting. I served as President and CEO of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation at Taliesin West until 2010. Since then I've has been active in shaping public policy to improve the performance of human habitat and its impact on wellbeing. I am a Senior Sustainability Scientist and Adjunct Professor at ASU, and director of design and manufacturing systems with Natura Materials Corporation, Phoenix, AZ.
