The main additions center around AI. A built-in Autodesk Assistant now lets users interact with their Revit models using plain language, handling everything from element queries and parameter edits to sheet creation and color-coded visualizations. Alongside this, Autodesk has made its MCP server publicly available, allowing users to connect Revit to an external AI tool of their choice for custom reporting and model management workflows.

Beyond AI, the release delivers a range of practical improvements that will benefit most project teams, including:

  • Hosted wall creation and management
  • Rule-based numbering for model elements
  • Native carbon properties in the materials library
  • A visual interface for IFC parameter mapping
  • Enhanced stair tread and riser annotation controls
  • Relocated active command options in the toolbar
