This fire-rated access panel can be used wherever it is necessary to provide service access to shafts and any other locations which must have a fire rating. Door features THERMAFIBER® industrial felt insulation for optimal fire protection and superior sound control. Approved for both wall and ceiling use.
- Door: 20 Gauge steel, 2" deep
- Frame & Trim: 16 Gauge steel, 1" wide flange
- Finish: Primed grey baked enamel, paintable surface
- Latches: Universal self-latching direct action latch, turn ring and key
- Hinge: Fully-concealed, pivot-rod type hinge allows opening to 140°
- Insulation: 2" Thick THERMAFIBER® industrial felt
- Automatic Door Closer: Spring closer for vertical position only. Ceiling position requires self-assisted closing
- Interior Latch Release: Furnished on all doors
- Anchor Straps: Masonry anchor straps are standard
