ULTRA GREEN™ Series 110 CFM Single-Speed Ventilation Fan, with white grille, Recognized as the Most Efficient of ENERGY STAR® 2014
110 CFM reduces humidity to quickly eliminate fogged mirrors and manage moisture in bathrooms up to 100 square feet, so your vision will always be clear and your surroundings will always be comfortable
ULTRASilent™ Sound Technology results in operation at less than 0.3 Sones - the quietest sound rating attainable -- for an environment that is so quiet, you'll likely forget the fan is on
ULTRAQuick™ Installation Technology uses an exclusive telescoping mounting frame with pre-installed screws, snap-in housing, snap-in blower and an inside-out mounting duct connector making installation up to 60% faster in retrofits and up to 20% faster in new construction, saving you time, money and aggravation
Retrofit installations can be done entirely from the room-side - no attic access required. This means a faster, easier installation, so you can move on to something else
Unique telescoping mounting frame can be placed and fastened through drywall hole because it expands from 14" to 24" and fits any type of joist, I-Joist or truss construction for a "no guesswork" installation to make the work fast and easy
Snap-in housing and blower further simplify installation since you can hear - and feel - when they are properly seated. Easy-to-position carriage allows housing location adjustment between joists so you can control the correct ceiling placement
ULTRASmart™ DC Motor & Control Technology provides energy efficiency almost 10 times greater than ENERGY STAR® requirements and maintains rated power (CFM) in nearly every installation. You have confidence you're getting the expected performance and won't even notice the fan usage on your utility bill
UL Listed for use over tubs and showers with a GFCI circuit; so you can capture the steam before it spreads throughout the room by locating your fan exactly where you need it the most
Compatible with Radiation Damper RDF1 which helps prevent flame and heat from spreading to other areas in multi-level buildings
In the midst of the Great Depression, two aggressive young men emerged with two new products that would make major contributions to the housing industry. In 1932, Henry Broan developed and manufactured a kitchen fan called the Motordor® Fan that provided quiet and efficient kitchen ventilation. His creation launched what is today known as Broan-NuTone LLC. Four years later, in 1936, J. Ralph Corbett developed a melodious door chime replacing the obnoxious door buzzer of the time. His development launched what is today known as NuTone, Inc.
Both men, headquartered in the Midwest, started their companies with a simple product and a few employees. Each expanded their companies, creating revolutionary new products that provided unmatched conveniences for homeowners nationwide. Both companies quickly became global competitors and continued to provide innovative, superior products to meet the needs of consumers.
In 1981, Broan Mfg. Co., Inc. was acquired by Nortek, Inc. and became the lead company of Nortek's Residential Building Products Group, which was named the Broan Group. During this same time period, NuTone was sold to Scovill Manufacturing in 1967 and was then acquired by Williams plc in 1991. In 1998, Nortek acquired NuTone, adding it to the Broan Group and renaming the group the Broan-NuTone Group. Then, in January 2000, Broan Mfg. Co., Inc. became Broan-NuTone LLC.
