Product Description:
The Rizza™ CE Series Silicone Compression Seal Systems consist of an extruded, chambered silicone compression seal profile and a silicone adhesive/sealant. The silicone adhesive/sealant is used to adhere the compression seal to the substrate and provide a durable, watertight, UV resistant system. Easy to install and maintain, these systems are attractive and economical.
Size:
Standard system is available for joint ranging from 1" nominal up to 4" nominal width.
Basic Uses:
Rizza™ CE Series Compression Seal Systems are designed specifically for use in commerical buildings as well as in parking structures and stadiums.
• Interior wall expansion joints
• Exterior wall expansion joints
• Interior wall seismic joints
• Exterior wall seismic joints
Advantages:
• No Blockout Required - The seal is installed within the joint with no blockout.
• Ease of Installation - Simply place the seal in position, and apply the adhesive/sealant to the seal/substrate interface.
• Seal available in rolls to allow long runs and to minimize seal splicing
• Resilient
• Can be fire rated
• Resists water penetration and leakage
• Anchorless installation
• Seals may be spliced by heat welding or using a cyanoacrylic adhesive
• Easy to clean and maintain
• Seals are reversible for installation in rough surfaces, i.e. brick and block walls
• VOC Compliant - The seals are low VOC when cured, and the adhesive has a "0" VOC rating.
