Product Description:
The 6F(V)S is an all aluminum, no bump, serrated floor cover comprised of an extruded aluminum frame and extruded aluminum cover plate (Aluminum Plate at nominal joints 3" and above).
Basic Uses:
Floor expansion joint cover at pedestrian traffic areas where 50% or 100% movement is required.
Materials:
Extruded Aluminum - 6063-T5 ASTM B221
Plate Aluminum - 5052-H32 ASTM B209
Finishes:
Aluminum - Mill finish.
Accessories/Fasteners:
Fasteners, accessories and other materials required for complete installation to Balco's instructions are provided.
All surfaces in contact with masonry or concrete shall be protected by a shop coat of latex enamel primer
Limitations:
Typical Expansion Joint Cover sections are 10'-0" (3048mm) maximum.
