To achieve the look of original wide plank flooring, widths of up to one foot are often used.
Procured from American managed plantations and sustainable forests, southern yellow wide plank pine is a renewable resource. It is twice as hard as Northern White pine and exhibits the classic knotty pine look with wide, prominant grain. We cut a #2 flooring grade so while you will have a healthy amount of knots of varying size, you will not have to worry about blue stain and missing knots.
Better (flooring grade) is used for our prefinished wide plank pine flooring. We prefer to produce these floors in random widths (6" - 10") but will be happy to produce in single widths if requested.
Natural to keep the floor lighter or Aged Patina to add a touch of honey to the floor. Latte exhibits a darker, more chocolate brown where Old World is more of a reddish-brown. All floors are available distressed.
