Notre-Dame du Haut

Completed in 1955, Notre-Dame du Haut in Ronchamp is one of Le Corbusier's most celebrated works. Its sculptural concrete walls, sweeping roof and carefully placed openings create an architecture shaped as much by light and atmosphere as by form.
