It’s a new year and the team at BIMstop is ready to dive into 2013.

We have some exciting features being released in the first quarter of 2013, as well as some great new clients coming on board. All of the new BIM content will be available for Autodesk Revit, Graphisoft ArchiCAD, Trimble Sketchup (previously Google Sketchup) and more – so stay tuned.

Today we’ve released two nice tweaks, one for BIM users and one for our building product manufacturer clients.

Browse BIM content by Country:

BIMstop was the first place to support BIM content from multiple Countries (we currently have content from 29). With many design professionals now working across multiple boarders, you need access to content from different countries in order to speed your workflow.

When browsing BIMstop for content you will now start to see Country flags showing which region each product relates to. This will help you to quickly identify which product and BIM files you need. You can also easily filter BIMstop search results to only show results from a certain region.

We’ve made a quick video to show how easy this is.

Also note our number one search ranking at the start of the video!

New recent work examples gallery:

3D and Building Information Modeling (BIM) are visual tools. Our building product manufacturer clients often ask for examples of XYZ product in BIM. So as of today we are going to be keeping an up to date image gallery of recent BIM work examples.
