Location: Lyon, France
Year of Construction: 2015
Architects: Jakob + MacFarlane Architects

This project's patent green perforated facade makes the building pop in the mostly gray surroundings of the Rambaud docks in the city of Lyon; while the accent could've been achieved with any bright color, the architects used green as a nod to the Saona River's color and the green hills surrounding the city. The color permeates to the inside of the building too, accentuating features such as the spiral openings on the roof, which represent a set of eyes.

Location: Incheon, South Korea
Year of Construction: 2014

The architect had a small budget, and had to abide by a series of strict space restrictions; this led to the simple facade solution present in the building, where the green movable screen pieces act as the foliage of a tree.
