We've had some good questions recently about BIM (building information modeling) and paint finishes. This affects a lot of building product manufacturers who are trying to create great BIM tools, but who's product are finish or surface based.
Usually for these sorts of products we work with the manufacturers to get their finishes into native BIM materials (such as Revit & ArchiCAD material files). These can then easily be sent out to user and does not require them to download anything additional.
Below is a video of some of our custom materials being applied to a BIM model within ArchiCAD. We also have a Revit video being uploaded soon.
