Go back to history. Look at some of the work of past masters. Choose a style you like, study it, summarize teh features that stand out and use them in your design. You need to develop your own philosophy.
For instance, I noticed how the ancient Egyptians and Greeks used repetition. Repetitive columns assembled in a certain way are mesmerizing. Other architects since have used the same technique. There are many different design techniques to pick up on. Find the one or ones that fit your philosophy. It might be curves, or the use of colour, or the minimalist style of the sixties.
